More stand-up from some new and not-so-new faces on the comedy club circuit.

This month:

El Baldiniho
Rachel Fairburn
Tom Little

Compere: Ryan Gough

Ages 18 & over only. Shows may contain strong language and adult material.

El Baldiniho

El Baldiniho is a very funny comedy magician performing throughout the UK.

One of the most versatile newer acts on the circuit, his brand of magic comedy and spoof mind-reading always hits the spot, whether at professional comedy clubs, cabaret nights, theatre shows, student nights, family friendly festivals, or events just for children.

In comedy clubs, he’s a great middle or “smash act”, adding that something different to any adult comedy club bill with his mind-bogglingly daft magic and likeable stage persona.

On the comedy circuit since 2010, El Baldiniho has continued to raise his profile and progress through the ranks, currently undertaking professional work for national promoters.

"A fun-filled sold-out success" - Canterbury International Festival

"Brought the house down" - Stand and Deliver Comedy

"Nuts!  Brilliant!" - PUNdamental Comedy

Rachel Fairburn

Sweet as chocolate and twice as dark, Rachel's comedy treads the line between kitchen sink confessional and a bleakness unmatched by her peers. A finalist of several prestigious competitions including Funny Women, City Life Comedian of the Year, NATY'S, English Comedian of the Year and the Welsh Unsigned Stand Up Award she can move from amiable and engaging comedy to serial killers in the same sentence.

Aside from gigging up and down the country, Rachel co-hosts and co-writes the popular serial killer themed podcast All Killa No Filla. In just over 18 months it has acquired tens of thousands of listeners around the world and live shows have been in high demand.

Rachel also guest-starred on a recent episode of the anarchic panel show, Panel Beaters hosted by Gary Delaney and Caimh McDonnell.

"Cuts a compelling figure as a charming and sweet but doom-laden Mancunian" - Chortle

"Darkly hilarious Wunderkind" - The Skinny

"Very good Material. Fairburn had confidence and charisma" - Beyond the Joke

Tom Little

Tom Little is a Salford stand-up comedian, who won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2015. He was also a finalist in the BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2014.

Tom performed as part of the Pleasance Comedy Reserve showcase at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

"A brilliant, loudly awkward set…. his material is somehow simultaneously incredibly sharply written and bluntly delivered; his routines are very funny, completely inventive, sitting perilously on the fence between allowing an audience to think they know what’s coming, and pulling something unexpectedly bizarre out of the bag" – Gigglebeats

Compere: Ryan Gough

Ryan Gough is a stand-up comedian who hails from the dodgy 'drive-by-shooting' area of Birmingham.

Far from being eye candy – he is 6 foot 5 inches tall with a shaved head and is usually cast in thuggish roles – indeed he will not be presenting any kids programmes or auditioning for any boy bands in the near future.

As well as being a stand-up comedian who has performed in every comedy club from Inverness to Plymouth – he has appeared on TV in Dalziel and Pascoe, Brum, and Teachers.

He has recently filmed a series of TV adverts in India for an Asian Cable TV Channel where he painted himself yellow, glued a huge handlebar moustache onto his face, wore a skin- tight leotard and played the part of a wrestler by chasing a young lady round a kitchen Benny Hill style whilst advertising Chapatti Flour!
