The Sound of Murder

The Sound of Murder

By William Fairchild

Charles Norbury is a successful writer of children's books... but he doesn't like children.  An unlovable man, he has no friends, is arrogant, controlling, sadistic and cruel. His wife, starved of love and denied children of her own, has met another man.

The secret lovers devise a fool-proof plan to do away with the husband; however they are unaware that their plotting has been accidentally recorded on tape. And when Charles' secretary listens to their scheme, this gripping thriller takes another twist into a suspense-filled climax.

"A gripping plot provides nail-biting tension"  - Brighton Argus
