Buxton Comedy Festival

We're pleased to announce Buxton's first Comedy Festival from 31 August to 3 September 2017. 

During this packed weekend the headline slots in the Opera House belong to top stand-up Jimmy Carr and comedian, actor and I'm a Celebrity favourite Joel Dommett along with a Friday night comedy music gig from festival favourites The Lancashire Hotpots. In the Pavilion Arts Centre we have a double bill from Damian Kingsley and Tanyalee Davis, Saturday afternoon Comedy Club 4 Kids and silent comedy duo the Kagools. All topped off with workshops, comedy drama, funny films and fringe circuit favourites, check out the calendar below for a snapshot of what's on:

Damian Kingsley & Tanyalee Davis Double Bill

Saturday 2 September 2017, 4pm

Damian's life unravelled when he lost his fiancé, day job and flat all in the same month. Weaving stories with childhood memories, Knock Knock is a brilliant storytelling show about identity, trust, family and friendship. 

She may be just 3-foot 6-inches tall, but Tanyalee’s gargantuan personality has ensured that she stands tall amongst the comedy greats.
