The Bark Duo have performed at venues across Manchester, notably appearing at Whitworth Art Gallery for their Sunday recital series and Congleton Unplugged for their local music festival. The Duo was formed with the interest of exploring music that guitarists often don’t get to play or study. The main body of their work features piano music from the impressionist period as many of these composers did not write for guitar. They have been heavily influenced by the impressionist-inspired technique of pointillism, where tiny dots of varied colours become blended in the viewers eye, much like the nature of the plucked and short sound that the guitar creates.
Bark Duo appears by kind permission of the RNCM.
