Buxton Buzz Comedy Club - April

Pavilion Arts Centrebutton--dates-and-timesDates & Times

More stand-up from some new and not-so-new faces on the comedy club circuit.

Tonight’s Buzz Club headliner is Phil Walker. Phil’s act has taken him to some weird and wonderful places, from a scout hut in Unst in the Shetland Isles to a porta-cabin on mount Alice in the Falkland Islands, basically he’ll go anywhere for a laugh!

Acclaimed stand-up comic and accomplished TV writer Meryl O'Rourke, revels in her bitterness. A potty mouthed potty trainer, she has delighted comedy audiences, written some of the best gags on telly and even hosted pop concerts (the last one to 12,000 people!)

Tom Short includes anecdotes, a unique viewpoint being brought up in working class Salford, mixing the mundaneness of television, pop culture icons of the 80s, 90s and present along with wicked one liners, whilst weaving in and out of skits seamlessly.

Tonight's compere is Ryan Gough, a stand-up comedian who hails from the dodgy 'drive-by-shooting' area of Birmingham.
