More stand-up from some new and not-so-new faces on the comedy club circuit.

Tonight's Buzz Club headliner is Tony Cowards, a rapid-fire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he's a tough act to beat! His quick wit has made him a popular act in comedy clubs and his jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper.

Karen Bayley is a Midlands based act hailing from Birmingham. Karen has been on the circuit for over a decade. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize.

Tony Vino is the only half Spanish half Scottish hybrid working comic in the world. He has been a pro comedian for over 10 years touring both nationally and internationally. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian and comedy compere of renown.

Tonight's compere is John Cooper. He has performed in hundreds of comedy clubs and theatres and is also a member of Comedysportz, Manchester's long-running improv team. You might already have seen him in character as his alter ego Danny Pensive.
