Join us for the Buxton Musical Society’s annual celebration of Christmas music.
This year we look to Christmas past as we perform Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, based on a collection of poems in Middle English, Latin and Early Modern English featuring a solo harp.
In the second half, we celebrate Christmas present and are joined by young choristers from Fairfield Endowed Junior School to sing many Christmas favourites. There are rumours that a special Christmas guest may also make an appearance.
