Craig Ogden, one of the most exciting and extensively recorded guitarists of his generation, joins leading cellist, Helen Thatcher, to perform world-class music with a Latin twist. Ogden is the youngest instrumentalist to have received a Fellowship Award from the Royal Northern College of Music, where he is now head of Guitar. Helen Thatcher is well known as a founder cellist of the Sorrel Quartet and the Erringden Ensemble. Their programme is an exploration of the repertoire for this instrumental combination, written by composers from all over the Americas. Joaquín Nin hailed from Cuba, Jaime Zenamon from Bolivia, Astor Piazzola from Argentina and Radames Gnattali from Brazil.
