Friday lunchtime recitals by students from Manchester's internationally renowned Royal Northern College of Music.
Naomi Rogers mezzo soprano
Alexey Pudinov piano
The programme will include works by Haydn, Schubert, Duparc, Fauré, Britten, Trimble and Clarke.
Naomi Rogers is a mezzo-soprano from Suffolk, currently studying for her Masters of Music in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, having also completed her undergraduate studies there. She studies under the tutelage Louise Winter and is generously supported by the Annie Ridyard Scholarship, Mario Lanza Educational Trust, Split Infinitive and the Helen Mackaness Award.
Alexey Pudinov is a multi-talented musician with boundless energy and creativity not just for his own playing but for other musical projects. He founded the “AD Festival Days”, a chamber music festival in Manchester, and is also cofounder of several chamber music ensembles: Frankfurt Piano Trio and prizewinning Piano Duo „TWO4PIANO“. “Without chamber music, I cannot live”, he says. This is true for other artistic ways of expression as well; apart from music, the young pianist loves photography.
Naomi Rogers and Alexey Pudinov appear by kind permission of the RNCM.
