Platform 3 Summer School

Matilda JR Mon 1 – Fri 12 Aug 2022 Pavilion Arts Centrebutton--dates-and-timesDates & Times

Join us for Platform 3’s first ever Summer School - a fabulous fortnight where we rehearse and perform Roald Dahl’s Matilda JR. Suitable for children aged 9-16.

Featuring songs including When I Grow Up, Revolting Children and Naughty, Matilda JR tells the story of a young girl who has hidden talents which she uses to help out her school friends. Wickedly funny, this story celebrates children as individuals, encourages children to support one another and acknowledges that children have the right to be “a little bit naughty.”

The Summer School will conclude with 2 public performances on Friday 12 August at 4pm & 7pm. Tickets for the performance can be purchased here.

Director: Allie Spencer
Musical Director: Tom Newall
Movement Director: Kerry Allsop

Once a ticket has been purchased you will be sent an application form to complete the booking.

Limited bursary places are available for families on low income. The deadline for bursary applications is Friday 27 May. Contact Kerry Allsop for more information: [email protected]
