Over the past term, four schools have taken part in rehearsals for a performance of Alice in Wonderland. Each school has been exploring a different part of the original story through script and movement.

Peak School and Gamesley Primary School have been working with Niamh Forster over the past year to build the groups' confidence and looking at how to present emotions through facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice. They start our story by introducing the characters, focusing on storytelling and keeping an audience engaged  through movement and poetry.

St Peter's C of E (VC) Junior School and Dove Holes Church of England Primary School have taken part in our Satellite Project over the past few years, and this term have worked with Elle Hibbert to focus on telling the story of the Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter, building their confidence and exploring creative staging.

This performance forms part of BOH Creates' wider Satellite Project., offering theatre workshops in local schools across the High Peak.
