Osian Ensemble, a dynamic string chamber music group, offers captivating and vibrant musical experiences. Their mission is to inspire and entertain audiences with exceptional performances. Formed in 2024 by Jacob Wright and Kirin Howat, the ensemble made its debut with a grand string ensemble concert featuring over 30 young musicians. Recently, the ensemble has collaborated closely in a quartet-sized setting with diverse players, delving into the extensive amount of repertoire composed for quartets.

Osian Ensemble has collaborated closely with multiple renowned chamber coaches, including Levon Chilingirian, Susie Mészáros, Robin Ireland, and Leonard Elschenbroich. This exceptional learning environment has enabled the players of Osian Ensemble to further enhance their chamber music skills and be inspired by a diverse range of incredible musicians.

Beyond their academic pursuits, the collective has demonstrated a keen interest in performing in unconventional and unfamiliar settings to captivate audiences. They have graced venues such as the Manchester Museum, Carole Nash Recital Room, RNCM Concert Hall, and even an abandoned warehouse during a fashion show.
