About Róisín Fleming

Róisín Fleming is a pianist originally from Cork, Ireland, and currently based in Manchester. As a soloist, she particularly enjoys playing Baroque repertoire and contemporary works, with a special focus on music by living Irish composers. She has played with the Gebbels Piano Trio since its formation in 2022 and is a member of the jazz fusion group Femme de la Femme.
Róisín began her studies in 2009 at the MTU Cork School of Music, where she was awarded numerous scholarships and bursaries for her distinguished exam and competition performance.
Since 2022, Róisín has been a student at the Royal Northern College of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Frank Wibaut. She is closely involved with the college's new music projects, having premiered several pieces by her colleagues in the School of Composition. as a continuo player, Róisín has joined the RNCM String Orchestra on harpsichord, under the direction of acclaimed violinist Henning Kraggerud.
