A fun and creative performance-based group creating a new piece for Making Space 2026.

Sessions will include a technique class to build stamina, strength, and performance skills, as well as choreography sessions. The Youth Dance Company will open Making Space Dance Festival on Mon 23 and Tue 24 Mar with their brand-new piece of choreography, performing on the Opera House stage.

Once you have booked your ticket, you will be sent a participant form to complete before the workshop.

To take part, participants must be available on the following dates:

Devising days: Tue 17 & Wed 18 Feb, 10am-4pm

Technical rehearsal: Fri 20 Feb, 1pm-4pm

Evening rehearsals: Tue 3 & Tue 17 Mar, 5pm-6.30pm

Performance dates: Mon 23 & Tue 24 Mar, 7.30pm

Please note: the rehearsal on Tue 17 Mar will take place at Harpur Hill Primary School (School Hall)
