We are delighted to share the news that Buxton Opera House has been nominated in two categories at the Lots for Tots Awards 2026:

• Customer Excellence of the Year
• Local Family Attraction of the Year

These nominations are a wonderful recognition of the work we do and celebrate our love for our wonderful audiences and the magic of family theatre.

At the heart of every performance is our incredible Front of House team. Supported by over 130 dedicated local volunteers, they work tirelessly to ensure a warm, inclusive, and professional welcome for every visitor who walks through our doors. Whether it’s helping a family find their seats or ensuring a first-time theatre-goer feels at home, our team is at the heart of everything we do.

We are equally proud to be recognised as a local family attraction. From high-energy interactive adventures and education shows to the tradition of our annual pantomime and our festive children’s productions, we are proud to offer a diverse programme that inspires the next generation and creates family memories that last a lifetime.
