Ticket Offer Lottery Sign Up Incentive January 2026 - Terms and Conditions

Promoter   

The promoter of this ticket sign up incentive is High Peak Theatre Trust Limited, trading as Buxton Opera House (“the Promoter”), registered office: 5 The Square, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6AZ. Email: admin@boh.org.uk. Telephone: 01298 72050. 

This ticket incentive is linked to sign ups to the Giant Cash Bonanza Society Lottery, which is promoted and operated by the Giant Cash Bonanza Society and licensed by the Gambling Commission (license number 28662). The Promoter does not operate the lottery. 

Tickets are offered as a promotional incentive for lottery sign ups and are not prizes of the Giant Cash Bonanza Society Lottery. This promotion does not involve any element of chance and is not a prize draw, competition, or lottery.

Eligibility 

  • Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees, trustees, agents of the Promoter, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are excluded. 

Promotional Period 

The promotion runs from 09:00 on Friday 16 January 2026 until 23:59 on Sunday 25 January 2026 (“Promotional Period”). Lottery sign ups outside this period will not qualify for the ticket offer. 

Qualifying Action 

Each individual who signs up to join the Giant Cash Bonanza Society Lottery in support of Buxton Opera House during the Promotional Period will be offered two theatre tickets (detailed in Clause 5). 

  • Individuals may sign up multiple times, up to a maximum of six active lottery memberships per person, in line with Giant Cash Bonanza Society rules.
  • Each qualifying sign up will receive one pair of tickets.  

The ticket offer has no impact on lottery odds, chances of winning, or lottery outcomes. 

Ticket Offer Details 

  • The offer consists of two full-price tickets (value £20 each) to The Buxton Faun at the Pavilion Arts Centre.
  • Performances take place:
     
    • Saturday 31 January 2026 (2.30pm or 7pm)
    • Sunday 1 February 2026 (3pm)
  • Ticket allocation is subject to availability and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Participants may indicate a preferred performance date but preferences are not guaranteed. 

The Promoter does not guarantee availability for any specific performance date or time. 

If performances sell out, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative ticket of equal or greater value, at its discretion. 

Tickets are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable, and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternative will be offered. No additional costs will be covered in association with this offer (including travel or accommodation). Tickets already purchased for any performance of The Buxton Faun will not be refunded should individuals sign up to the lottery during this promotional period.  

Ticket Redemption 

Eligible participants will be contacted during the week commencing Monday 26 January 2026 with details on how to redeem their tickets. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity or eligibility. 

Data Protection and Communications 

Buxton Opera House is an affiliate of the Giant Cash Bonanza Society lottery, which raises funds for good causes. 

  • Lottery membership data is shared between Giant Cash Bonanza Society and Buxton Opera House under a lawful data‑sharing agreement and legitimate interest.
  • Participants who opt out of marketing communications will only be contacted regarding the administration of this ticket offer.
  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. 

Privacy policies: 

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform. 

Limitation of Liability 

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for: 

  • Failed, incomplete or delayed lottery sign ups
  • Technical or system errors related to lottery registration 

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law. 

General 

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this promotion where reasonably necessary.
  • The Promoter’s decisions regarding the operation of the promotion and ticket allocation are final.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 

 

All promotional materials relating to this offer must be read in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions.
