Fractal is a Manchester-based saxophone quartet formed by four musicians at the Royal Northern College of Music. The quartet is passionate about showcasing the versatility of the saxophone, combining established repertoire with contemporary music and new works.

Since its formation, Fractal has performed across a variety of venues and settings, including Wigmore Hall and the Manchester Marathon, bringing the distinctive sound of the saxophone quartet to diverse audiences. In 2026, the quartet was named the RNCM Christopher Rowland Chamber Ensemble of the Year and was a finalist in the Royal Over-Seas League Chamber Music Competition.

With a shared interest in contemporary repertoire and innovative programming, Fractal seeks to present the saxophone quartet as a versatile and engaging chamber music ensemble, connecting music with audiences through energetic and expressive performances.
