About Laurence Jones
Laurence Jones is a multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed blues rock artist from Liverpool.
He has opened and supported the likes of Sir Ringo Starr, Sir Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, and recently Status Quo. Laurence has been lucky enough to experience the blues first hand and jam with living blues legend Buddy Guy.
Laurence has just released his most personal album to date, his first ever solo acoustic blues album. On My Own explored recent health struggles and takes him back to his roots where it all began. Dr's orders meant that Jones had to re-think his high energy stage performances, and the changed sparked a new creative solo blues path which has already gained rave reviews.
"Real & raw, his most honest work yet."
The opening act is Amy Eftekhari, a singer-songwriter from Nottingham and life partner of Laurence Jones. She has performed backing vocals for the likes of Beverly Knight, Joss Stone, and many more, but is now focusing on her own material. Amy is known for her emotional and honest approach to songwriting. Her music combines vulnerability with strength and authenticity. Her new EP This Moment showcases Amy at her best.
"What a beautiful voice."
