About Mahan Esfahani

Mahan Esfahani is the first harpsichordist in a generation whose work spans virtually all areas of classical music-making.

His work includes acclaimed performances of standard repertoire, collaborations with composers, and international symphony appearances with major orchestras.

He was a BBC New Generation Artist, Borletti-Buitoni prize winner, three-time Gramophone nominee, and Wigmore Medal recipient in 2022.

'Such virtuosity and disarming presentation suggests that Esfahani could inspire a whole new appreciation of the instrument.'

The Guardian

'Exhaustingly brilliant.'
