About Paint Social

Relax, unwind, let your artistic flare do its thing, and join us for a painting social!

Led by illustrator and creative Elle Hibbert, we will explore and collect inspiration from the nature around Poole's Cavern and Grin Low Woods and take to creating a piece of art inspired by the nature for you to take home. Elle will be there to support, but the evening will be your own to express your creativity in a friendly, artistic environment in a lovely setting. Bring a friend, or come alone - materials will be provided for all, whether you're a resident artist or you've never painted something in your life, everyone is welcome!

The cafe will be open throughout for drinks and snaks - as the event is free, we would enourage people to buy a drink if they are able, to make it worthwhile for the cafe to stay open.

Elle Hibbert is an illustrator and creative from Buxton. Elle specialises in creative illustration and theatre design. She has worked with organisations such as Buxton Opera House, the British Youth Opera, Theatre By the Lake and the BBC. Elle's artistic style reflects a lot of colour, fantasy, and is heavily inspired by graphic novels and children's literature. You'll see a lot of Elle's work on windows across Buxton and the High Peak and on all the beer pump badges at Silent Brew Co.
