About Mistura
Set in 1960s Lima, Mistura follows Norma Piet, a woman from high society whose life unravels after her husband's betrayal pushes her out of elite circles.
What follows isn't just personal reinvention, but a deeper discovery of a country and a culture she never truly saw. The transformation takes shape through her connection with Oscar, a chauffeur and musician, who helps her open a restaurant.
From there, Mistura opens into Perú’s culinary world, showing markets, home kitchens, and street-level spaces that feel vibrant and alive. With Lima-based and internationally recognised chef Toshi Mastufuji also starring, the film sends us on a sumptuous and beautifully photographed journey of food, music, culture, and identity.
