Join UNIFest performers from Oxford University for their new production of Ruddigore.

This comic opera blends melodrama, romance, and a touch of the supernatural as the cursed Murgatroyd family grapples with the obligation to commit a daily crime or face the wrath of their ancestral ghosts.

The story follows the timid Sir Ruthven, who has escaped his family's dark legacy by living in disguise. When Ruthven's true identity is revealed, the plot takes a delightfully topty-turvy turn, complete with haunted portraits, scheming villagers, and plenty of Gilbertarian twists.

With its lively score, atmospheric setting, and sharp humour, Ruddigore promises an afternoon of excellent entertainment.
