About The Hallé

Three Romantic masterpieces, led by award-winning conductor Euan Shields.

The concert opens with the dazzling overture to Weber’s opera Oberon, and continues with Richard Strauss’s First Horn Concerto, written when he was just 18. Brahms’s monumental Fourth Symphony, often hailed as his greatest, grows from the simplest idea into a vast emotional journey.
