Concert pianist Kathryn Stott has delighted Buxton International Festival audiences for years.
This will be her farewell recital, as part of her last professional tour.
The wide-ranging programme, titled Musical Postcards, is her personal choice of favourites and is a fitting end to her distinguished career. It includes music by Fauré, to mark the centenary of his death, plus a new work by Graham Fitkin, titled Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly for Piano.
A not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear this remarkable player in Buxton one final time.
