Join us for Platform 3’s Summer School - a fabulous fortnight where we rehearse and perform Shrek The Musical JR. Suitable for children aged 9-18.
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favourite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
The Summer School will conclude with 2 public performances on Friday 23 August at 4pm & 7pm. Tickets for the performance can be purchased here.
Once a ticket for the summer school has been purchased you will be sent an application form to complete the booking. Participants will also be invited to a welcome workshop in July.
Dates: Monday 12 – Friday 23 August (10 days, Monday – Friday)
Times: Week 1: 10am – 4pm & Week 2: 10am – 5pm
