Performer Call-out: Hare & Tortoise Schools Tour and Studio Show

We are seeking an 18+ local, female-identifying, actor-musician with a playing age of 15 – 25 to play Hare and lead post show workshops, as part of a brand new children's production this Winter.

Having recently achieved ACE National Portfolio status, Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre is entering into an exciting time and this year our Learning and Engagement Programme, Platform 3, are producing our first in-house children’s show for Christmas 2023.

Brendan Murray’s Hare and Tortoise will both tour to schools and play to audiences in the Pavilion Arts Centre, Buxton during December 2023.

Performers must have a sense of fun and enjoy working with children. Instrument(s) must be portable and not rely on electric/amplification. Employment will be subject to a DBS check.

Ability to drive and use of own car is useful due to the Buxton location.

1st audition: 12 October 2023
Recalls: 18 October 2023
