In a bid to help save energy and lessen the impact of soaring energy costs, Buxton Opera House will be closing the venue to the public every Monday in January 2023.
There are no performances on these days and therefore all lighting and heating within the venue will be switched off. Buxton Opera House staff, including the Box Office team, will be working remotely or at the offices across the road from the theatre.
Customers will still be able to purchase tickets over the phone or on the website, but we ask that you do not come to the venue as you won't be able to buy or collect tickets in person on these days. Our phone lines may be busier than usual, so please bear with us.
