Christmas is well under way here in Buxton after a spectacular lantern parade and light switch on... and what a turn out it was!
Our fabulous pantomime stars Cinderella (Georgia Gallagher) and Prince Charming (Ross Clifton) made their royal visit to the town for the occasion, making their way around the crowds, exploring Christmas stalls, even the reindeer popped by to say hello!
As the evening continued the two joined an exciting lantern parade to the Cavendish Arcade where, along with the Mayor of High Peak Peter Inman, they led a countdown and lit up the beautiful Christmas tree, declaring the official start of the festive season.
