Sitkovetsky Trio has established itself as an exceptional piano trio. 

Their thoughtful and committed approach has brought the ensemble critical acclaim and invitations to renowned concert halls around the world.

In the last of their three Buxton International Festival recitals (see also 11.15am and 3pm, Thursday 18 July), they are joined by Rosalind Ventris playing viola and Will Duerden on double bass, for a performance of Schubert’s ever-popular ‘Trout’ Quintet, which includes a delightful set of variations on his song of that name. Before that, Will Duerden and Wu Qian give the world premiere of a new work by Sam Perkin, whose Freakshow the trio performed at last year’s Festival.
