Enjoy Prosecco and Picnics at Buxton Opera House this summer!

Brand new for 2023, enjoy your visit to Buxton International Festival and Gilbert and Sullivan Festival with our Prosecco & Picnic boxes - the perfect addition to your theatre experience.

Enhance your visit to our beautiful theatre during festival celebrations with an afternoon tea of delicious, homemade treats, accompanied by a glass of Prosecco or Pimms, available across a variety of performances.

The boxes will be served from our main foyer one hour prior to a performance, where you can enjoy your refreshments on our main plaza area outside the front of the theatre or in the foyer. You also have the option of taking your boxes into the auditorium, this opens half an hour before the show, to enjoy whilst watching the production. If you would prefer to wait until the interval to enjoy your refreshments, you can also collect at this time.

The afternoon tea contains a selection of finger foods which are sweet and savoury, see full menu below. We have both meat and vegetarian options available.

Boxes are priced at £40 each, including two glasses of Prosecco, Pimms or a selection of non-alcoholic alternatives. The refreshments are made freshly to order by a local caterer, so must be pre-ordered via Box Office 48 hours prior to a performance on 01298 72190.
