Buxton Opera House and McCarthy Stone are thrilled to be joining forces in a new annual partnership which sees the local retirement property developer become the lead sponsor of our iconic theatre in the hills.
Launching just before the release of the Opera House’s brand-new season brochure, McCarthy Stone will be sponsoring all of Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre's home-produced productions over the next year, including the upcoming festive family pantomime, Cinderella, the brand-new children’s production of Hare & Tortoise, a much-anticipated sequel to 2020's commissioned play Deep, and Evita, Buxton Opera House's upcoming community production in spring 2024.
The support from McCarthy Stone will also allow the Opera House to make continual improvements to the 120-year-old venue and support the important work of our Learning and Engagement department.
